Is it legal for creditors to call you at work?

    Quick question:

Is it legal for creditors to call you at your office after you have told them that you do not wish to receive their calls there?

Thanks for any light you can shed on this!

It depends, is it a "collection agency" or the original creditor to whom you legally owe the debt.

In this case, it's the credit card company who originally extended credit. So they can call at work?

The next time they call you tell them that it's against your company policy for creditors/collection agencies to call you at work.
