    Foreclosure sold to new lender

I filed for bankruptcy in August 2005. It was discharged. I lost 1 home however I kept another one. Both were listed in the bankruptcy. I kept the payments up until August 2006. I never reaffirmed or signed papers of any kind.

I am now in foreclosure (again!) with the house I stayed in. I believe it was going to foreclosure sale in April/May. The lender just sold the loan to America's Servicing Company.

    Question:

Is the loan still in foreclosure and on the same timeline?

If so, is it still under the bankruptcy?

    More than likely

Yes, if you did not reaffirm, then you should not be liable for any deficiency balance that might arise, assuming your state even allows deficiency balances on forclosures, (Most don't by the way)
