The only way I'm sure of that is that I see them listed for sale on the MLS. I have gotten nothing from any those lenders. I can assume there were no bidders at the courthouse sale. Can I also assume it could be a VERY long time before I know the loss to the lender, since nobody is buying anything now, and the economy is crashing so those houses may never sell? And is it correct that you do not need to know the amount of loss to the lender to file BK, just the creditors' contact information?
