Is this correct?

Just want to make sure my thinking is correct. In California home Loans IIB did not reaffirm. decided to walk away so stopped paying Mortgage this month.

So my understanding is I should get a NOD in a few months. Then I will be informed of a sherrifs sale that will be like three months down the road so i will have some time to move out.

I should continue to pay insurance after I move out until home is out of my name?

Do not pay property taxes as it will be lenders responsibility? City will not come after me?

You got it pretty well. Remember you are bk and the City and real taxes go with the house. At this time, you don't own it (per se) as you are abandoning it and by grace of paperwork have some time to freely live in it and find a new place. 'Hub
