We filed bankrupcty and it was discharged back in July. We filed on our home but then decided to make voluntary payments and try to keep it because my husband got a promotion. Well, we started doing some remodeling and then my husband lost his job. Can we let the house go back without being sued? And since the remodeling isnt done , like some cabinets in kitchen havent been bought yet etc., can they sue us for this? I live in Indiana. I dont know if that makes a difference.
