About a month ago, I wrote that my stupid bank added $400 to my check, paid to a govt agency, from my account, making my balances go negative.
So I wrote a letter to the vice president of the bank, with the copy of the check I had written attached, and the problem was corrected.
And, lo and behold, the govt agency which had over-deposited the $400 to my payment sent me a letter that they want to REFUND me the money.
What should I do with the refund? Should I return it to the bank? Or should I keep it?
