I think my lawyer messed up and now I am going to have a judgement against me even though my BK has already been filed. How can I get this judgement extinguished? It is 20 grand and if I could afford to pay 20 grand I wouldn't be filing BK. Is there something I can do?

Just fax/mail your BK petition to the attorney's who are handling the judgement against you. As a matter of fact, just have your attorney do this, so he/she can include a letter along with the documents too.The information provided is not, and should not be considered legal advice. No problem!Originally posted by FloridaGirlThanks, Todd. I had hoped this would be dealt with by my attorney already seeing as how he knew of this judgement. I gave my attorney all the documents pertaining to the judgement, so I will have to ask him to take care of it. Thanks for the advice.
