1st meeting Wed, today, what do I need to take

Our first meeting with our lawyer is Wed (today). We have the filing fee (or retainer fee, whichever the lawyer chooses to use the money for)

I am wondering what all paperwork is needed to make things run as quickly and smoothly as possible. I have the following:

    4 years tax returns
    6 months bank account statements
    6 months income records
Credit reports from all 3 agencies for both of us
Most current bill from each of our creditors
    Spread sheet of monthly budget
Spread sheet of creditors, balances & addresses (including all that are reported on credit reports)

Is there anything else I need to take?

NADA or Bluebook value for any vehicles you own.
Need the value of your home, how much you owe and equity in it if you have one as well.

Otherwise looks like you have most of what you need.

EDIT: Have you taken the Credit Counseling first.

Note lawyers will not file until you pay them all their fees so probably you have the retainer fee .

Clarification - Ch 7 lawyers won't file your case until you pay them all their fees. Ch 13 lawyers take a retainer fee + the standard bk filing fee, then put what remains of their fees into the Ch 13 plan.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

      06/01/06 - Filed Ch 13
      06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
      07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
      09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
      08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

      10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

More clarification....some chapter 7 lawyers do take you on a payment plan and file after the first deposit is made. Case in point, me, I paid my lawyer the retainer fee, and he filed our case a week later, I then continued my payments to him all through our bk process, which I chose to do a 6 month payback, so actually I was paying on the lawyer longer than my bk was active, but it was the only way I could afford one because that made the payments small enough. Not all lawyers wait to file until you have paid their entire fee. It varies greatly as to how they will handle their business.

Our lawyer accepts payment plans. We pay $300 down, then the rest during the process.
There are CCCS classes held 3 days a week here locally, they also have one that ou can take the same day as your 341 meeting, or we could do it online, I'm waiting to ask what our lawyer things would be best.

Is there any way to find the value of our home online?
Is there any way to find if we have equity in our home online?
