Went to my second appt today with my attorney. She says she feels very confident that we can file Chapter 7. 
So, things are in the works. I have to go home and list all of my personal property and their values for exemptions. We haven't been in Alabama for 2 yrs yet, so I have to use Tennessee's. AL exemption for personal property is $3000 per person, and TN is $4000 per person, so its better. If I'm over, she said we could just pay the trustee that amoutn over a small period of time.
My next appt is this time next month, and then we'll file a month after that. That gives us time to save up the money to pay the attorney before filing.
