    Okay, I'm confused.

I have a house note that I was paying. When I finally decided to switch from a chapter 13 to a 7, I also decided to give my house back.

What does this mean? Are they actually going to consider it a "foreclosure"? I received a letter saying that I was discharged on the 23rd of July already. How much longer until they come for the house and car? I already have a place lined up to move to so I'm not in a hurry or anything. I'm just curious because I hate the "not knowing" part of things.

Depends if your state is a judical or non judical foreclosure state. Ina judicsl foreclosre state, they have a lot of legal hoops to jump through before you are evicted. I'd stay until the bitter end. Ask your layer the procedure for your state.
In the case of the car, sooner rather than later unless, it's so old that it's not worth the expense of a repo.
