    Own Attorney?

I am part owner in a small business. My business partner and I are in the process of claiming not only bankruptcy for the business but each claiming personal bankruptcy. Our attorney is currently working onmy partner's case (business and personal) and cannot get to mine f(personal) or what he says is about another 3-4 weeks due to the fact that it would be a conflict of interest. Does this sound right?Should I seek out my own attorney?
    Thank you for any assistance.

Yes, there would be a conflict of interest, so you should get your own attorney for your personal BK.

Is the business a seperate corporate entity or a mere partnership. If its a seperate corporate entity, it would probably be a conflict of interest for the attorney to represent your partner in his personal BK, if the attorney also represents the corporation.

Long and short of it, get your own attorney.
