i'm in maryland and had to amend schedules C & D. they are asking for a certificate of service on the amended schedules. local bankruptcy rule 1009-1(a)-c) copy of 341 must also go to new creditor. HELP!!

Have you already had the 341 Meeting.
About a week after you filed BK, you probably recieved something from the BK Court informing you when you 341 meeting is, right (Form B9A)? Make a copy of that document (front and back), and mail it to whatever creditor you added.
Then prepare a form that says,
CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE
"I hereby certify that on this date, I caused to be deposited for mailing in the United States Mail at [insert your city], [insert your state], a true, correct and complete copy of the NOTICE OF CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY CASE, MEETING OF CREDITORS & DEADLINES addressed to creditors as indicated below"
[Insert Creditors Name and Address]
[Date]
[your signature]
[Print your name]
[your address]
At the top of the form, include your Name, Case No. and Chapter No.
After you have mailed the Notice to the added creditors, file the Certificate of Service with the BK Clerk.Last edited by HHM; 05-05-2005, 06:51 AM.
