    Nervous- Finally a meeting scheduled

    Hey Guys......
I have a meeting w/ the BK Lawyer on 9/7...and i am nervous as heck.....i dont know where to start...or what to say. The receptionist was very helpful ...and she told me everything I need. Pay stubs back to march...lisence...social security card( i need to go get a replacement)...all bills...credit reports....

Can you all think of anything else???

    Breathe

Remember to breathe! Actually, you will find the BK attorney to be the safest and most pleasant place after months of creditors breathing down your neck. Your attorney is there to help you, not condemn you.

Remember, there is hope on the other side. My best to you.

Keep paying mortgage and car (if you have these) and all utilities......ask your attorney about everything else.

If you pay the attorney a retainer, you can have any creditor call them instead. Or you can let all the calls go to your answering machine. Once you file, they cannot call or contact you anymore.
