Meeting w/ Lawyer Resched

Okay....so I got a call from the Lawyer's office and my meeting that was orginally scehduled for tomorrow @ 1 has now been rescheduled for tuesday @ 1. Then she tells me that the Ch. 7 legal fees are being increased to $1225 because of how much work it takes to get all the paperwork together...etc....but because my meeting was sched for Friday...they are going to allow me to fall under the old pay which is a flat $925. Yes...$925 for bankruptcy....Is is usually $1200+? I really hate to go through the weekend w/ this bankruptcy thing still not figured out. On top of that...my inspectiong sticker expired 8/31....i still haven't gotten the vehicle inspected...because i dont have the money....and if i did..it still wouldn't pass......CarAmerica contacted me yesterday and they want me to get another car....i told them they are the ones along w/ the finance company united auto that have caused me drama w/ being upside down in my vehicle. I really do need another car though.

hello....I'm in PA.....my fees: bk-$800.00 - pre and post filing courses : $ 100.00 - bk court
filing fee chpt 7 : $299.00 total $1199.00
additional $150.00 for me to have judgement avoided from my record.....
also , my atty raised his fee to $1200.00.....glad I filed when I did.........guzzie

I paid almost 1600 for my bk in all I think counting lawyer and credit counseling.

Sorry to hear they are moving your meeting. I am glad they gonna let you still pay the lower amount, I know it'll help ya.

Well you know before I filed I finally got my car inspected. I hadn't had it inspected for almost 3 years. I had to put new tires on the front to get it inspected. ( I work graves so was kinda easy to get away with it, a week after it got inspected I was stopped in a traffic stop where they were checking inspection stickers)
