My lawyer is going on Thanksgiving Vacation...for a week! She told me not to contact her again until December. I wanted to file around the 6th of December. Stinks to be me.

I agree- my sister is a lawyer! But there is a whole week after Thanksgiving before December. If I were going to file the first week of December, I would want my lawyer available that last week of November.Originally posted by HHM View PostComment

We still owe her $370 of the $1570. We've come up with the first $1200 in a month. Had to borrow some, but most of it was from us. We'll have her paid off by the first week in December. I know they are people too...I understand she's taking vacation. She just isn't very personable. I didn't have many options though, since we live in such a tiny community. There was only 1 BK lawyer to use. I'll just be happy when this is all over. DH definitely doesn't get a whole week and a 1/2 off for Thanksgiving.Comment
