friend of mine is long done with his chpt7 BK and just got a summons to appear for a pre-trial conference #1 the conference is 2hrs away OUCH but most importantly how can he be sued for money he owes if his BK is over ? also figure i would mention he had a co-signer who was a GF at the time, is there anything he can do ?

Was the debt he is being sued for included in his bankruptcy filing? Was the debt his GF's and she filed first so the creditor is coming after your friend?
