Hello:

We are so glad we consulted two attorneys. The first atty. told us no way could we go Chapter 7. We would also have to file an individual Bk for myself, one for spouse and one for our business.....to the tune of about $9,000.But dont worry he would put that fee in our Chapter 13 plan.

We consulted a different atty. about 2 months later and we have filed a Chapter 7 jointly. No BK for business just a closing of the business and a fee of $1799 total. What a big difference.Our current atty. has been very straight forward and no nonsense and we have felt very confident in her representation and knowledge of the inner workings of BK.If in doubt get a second or even third opinion. We are so glad we did.
