    Consultations?

Would it be odd for only one person to go to a few attourny consultations for a joint filing case?

I was wondering, because we are going to have to start thinking about finding an attourny soon.
But my wife is in school at day during the week,
I work 3rd shift, so I can go just about any time.
It would be easier if I go myself and scope a few out and then just fill the wife in/
She really has no interest in the nuts & bolts of BK. She just wants to file and clear out debts. I am the one doing all the research and such.

I just didn't know if this was common.
Or if there were some reason why this wouldn't be appropriate.
    7/01/10 - filed!
    11/20/10 - discharged and closed

    There is nothing odd about.

We did that. My husband went to one appointment and I went to two appointments by myself. I am currently a stay at home mom with no income. The attorney's did not even bat an eye. I also went to the court house and watched BK proceedings before picking my attorney. I am so happy I did. I learned more about the attorney's than I ever did in an interview.
