In Ohio, I paid $3000 for my CH 13, which is I think the max our BK judge will allow a lawyer to charge in our area. Filing fees were about $275 additional, and then I added a creditor which cost me another $26. I paid my CH 13 lawyer $575 upfront, plus the filing fees, the rest I financed through my plan, so are part of my CH 13 payments.

Plan Modified July 8, 2009 from $1100/month to $400/month due to change in income, finally discharged in July of 2013!
Oh, I forgot, I also had to pay $300 to get my house appraised as part of the BK process. If you have a lot of jewlery that you are worried about, you might have to have those items appraised as well, although I'm sure much less common.
