    Dumb Question

I was in a Chapter 13 which was just converted to Chapter 7. There isn't much left of the money I paid the Ch. 13 trustee (around $55). Am I going to get that back? Or does he keep it?

Last date for objections: May 5th
    Discharged: May 13, 2008

No such thing as a dumb question.the left over money may go do the creditors, not really sure though. Why did you go 13 instead of 7? Did your lawyer talk you in to it?

When I converted, it was a year post-confirmation, and all money on hand was distributed to creditors and the trustee.

coma, you could not use any of your exemption, or when going form 13 to 7 you don't get any.

I'm not sure...I thought it had to do with being confirmed or not. I thought that if you converted prior to confirmation, you could be refunded. We were pro se, so no attorney to ask, but I was just thankful that I was able to convert again. There wasn't much of a balance on hand anyway. Who knows...
