There's a new law this year that if you make $54,000 or less, you can file online for free.

Watch out when you click their links, it takes you to other websites and you need to read the fine print cuz some of the other sites you use will charge between $10-30 to file you State, even though they offer the IRS for free.
As a sidenote, I used the equivalent of TurboTax online rather than spending $40 to buy the software and then having to spend more money to efile.
It cost me about $20 to efile both the Fed and State using the TurboTax.
I thought it was a pretty good online program and would recommend it.

Did it on two different sites just to make sure it was correct. Gotta love computers (sometimes).
