Regarding business credit cards with multiple users.

I have a couple of cards with my sole proprietorship's name/my name on them. My meaningful other also has the same cards with my biz name/hers.
Is she in anyway, held liable when I file?

If your in a community property state, more than likely.
If not in a community property state, if she is merely an authorized user, probably not.

Not married. She was added as an "employee authorized user".
Am Ex, and BofA, both only asked name and SS#.
She does live with me, but is not on any accounts other than the two cards.
Edit to add: Would cancelling the authorized user cards be a good idea?

Looks like I have to fire her.
Of course it will be hard on the kids. But they'll get over it when I start 'interviewing'.

Sometimes "Meaningful others" start that way first then become employees.
My boyfriend and I are going into business together. The way we're structuring things, we'll eventually be employees of our own company.
I still need to learn more about that ...
