Question about bank statements required for BK filing >>

When now filing for CH 7 BK I was adivsed by my attorney that I will have to provide 6 months back bank statements, thats fine, however my question is this... What is the trustee actually looking for? There have been times when I would go to the bank every Friday afternoon and withdrawl out around $300 per week, have to pay for gas, food, ect... Is this going to be questioned? Last thing I need is anymore problems here..

I had to destroy all of my credit cards, including my banking debit cards so that I would not gamble with those cards... I have no choice but to withdrawl funds out of my checking account directly.. I do write checks for small bills such as power, telephone, ect...

Can other people please give me some advice on this situation??? Thanks!

It won't be a problem. The trustee is primarily looking to see that your bank statements are consistent with the spending you listed on Schedule J and that there is no significant, non-exempt cash sitting in the account.

So as long as I am not taking out "huge" amounts of cash than I should not have a problem? I just do not want to have my case held up forever here... Thanks for the above noted information..
