I met with the lawyer today. It was a much easier process than I thought it woudl be. I really liked him and he was very helpful. We spent about 30 mins going over everything and in the end he says I can file chapter 7 and as long as everything I say is true, he doesn't see and problems with me getting a full discharge since my income is low and I have no assets. This is the first one I've gone to see, but im pretty sure I will use him. His fees are $1200 to him and the $299 fee to the court, plus a $170 due diligence for credit counseling and credit reporting services. Do these sound about right?
