So I thought I'd check my credit report, and

Yes, Monday was the 60 day mark, and still not having heard from our wonderful attorney (don't ask), I decided to pull our yearly free credit report. It showed "discharged August 21, 2008" WOW I was happy to see that, now, how long before I hear from her???? Probably never, I was hoping not to have to deal with her again, she was very unapproachable and unfriendly, so I am glad we are through. Now, how long until we get the discharge letter?

The official discharge letter should arrive with a week or so of the discharge date. If it does not come soon, you can call the clerks office an inquire about that.
    Bankruptcy History:
    Chapter 7 filed - 10/12/2005 - Asset
    Discharged - 02/16/2006
    Case Closed - 11/08/2007

All suggestions are based on personal experience and research and SHOULD NOT be construed as legal advice as I am NOT an attorney. Always consult with competent counsel in your area with regards to your particular situation.

You should receive the discharge letter within the next week or 2 at the most.
