Oh if its more than 90 days I think you'll be good.

My understanding to objections though was it was on a charge by charge basis.

I just realized I accidentally used an AmEx card through Paypal for school lunches last week instead of bank account. $121. I'm going to just pay that back, so that should be ok shouldn't it.

I'm really only concerned about the Citi card. The other ones have not been used for many months, & no balance transfer checks since February and I paid more than minimums each month to date.

Another thing - we got cash gifts from my grandparents early in the year
($1000 and $5000), and one from my boss ($2900) so we tossed around the idea of putting them down as creditors and showing payments due to them. Will this help in the expense schedule too? Not sure.

        Hi Frogge!
Sounds like you have a good attorney who's on top of things! I was told by my attorney that *if* the creditor objects to the recent charges, that we would have to *pay* that amount back (ours was recent cash advances/cc checks). No big deal.

        I sure you'll be fine!

        Good Luck!

Thanks, Liz. I just was kind of shocked at the timing now, I was really hoping we would be able to wait for a while to file. I think we'll be ok, too.. if I have to pay someone or give up/ pay for an asset or two it will still be a good decision.

            My husband doesn't know either!!

I am soooo glad to hear someone else did what I did. Not because it was a good thing but because it had a not unpleasant ending.

My husband and I have separate CC accounts except for a few we share but don't use. I pay mine--he pays his. I know how much I owe and he owes but he DOES NOT KNOW my balances. He does not look at my bills. Anyway, he has no balances. Mine is way over what you have. WAY, WAY over. I have not told him; he has not asked. I have payed the payments on time, all the time, except for the last 15 months when we had to move for his job which caused my income to be lowered by: 1-trying to find a new place of employment, and then 2--taking a $15. hr loss in pay. I had to get cash advances on those CC's to pay bills, etc.

I'm planning on filing single Bk and have not told him yet. I want to have all my ducks in a row when I do. But first I have to get up the courage to tell him how much in bills I have. I know, like yours, he will be disapointed but he will be "OK" with it. He is the greatest guy in the world.

So, I'm happy you also have a great guy, and thanks for your post. It will make it easier to tell my great guy!!

Good for you, I'm glad you've got a great guy I had pictured horrible things happening when I told DH. Your situation is similar to mine, and you've done what you had to do based on your circumstances and your DH will know that, just like mine did.
