    Why do creditors not learn...

Just received this email from Chase...

This October, November and December select Cardmembers like you will be rewarded, compliments of Chase. Spend on anything from dining, gas, groceries, to travel, home improvement, computers & electronics, and gifts and you can receive a 3% STATEMENT CREDIT

With everything going on with the economy they still want their customers to keep charging... Even offering a 3% credit for using their card.

I just stopped paying this card 2 weeks ago and they want me to keep charging. Its creditors like this that got me into this situation.

With the economy hurting like it is, creditors/lenders may do whatever is necessary to increase the flow of money.

IMO though, Chase is one of those lenders that may survive this economic crisis. They'll limp along for a while of course, but they'll still be standing in the end, while the others fall flat on thier faces.

considering that 70% of our GDP is from consumer spending- the US economy needs US consumers to spend (and essentially go into debt) to keep this country afloat essiantially.. I don't blame creditor's for getting me into my situation...
