When it rains

Hi Everyone.

Last time I wrote it was to let you all know that my Dads sister passed away from cancer. Well the bad news keeps coming. On Wednesday night our beautiful doxie Marilyn dies peacefully in my arms. She was 16 1/2 years old. She is now resting under a beautiful tree in our front yard which she always loved to play under. We are devestated. We miss her so so much! We really want another dog, but don't know how this will play into the BK. We plan on getting that moving in the next week or 2. I hope we get some good news with that.... UGH!

I have a longhaired mini dachshund myself and I can't imagine life without her. I'm so sorry about your furbaby, but what a long life she had and how lucky she was to have you holding her. Of course it probably makes sense to wait until after your BK to get another dog as you're creating an expense for yourself, but they can be such a source of comfort during an otherwise miserable time in your life. I hope you have some good news soon and no more sad news.

Hi Mom2one. I am so sorry to learn of all your losses, especially the little doxie. But you were there and she didn't die alone. Our pets are so much a part of our families.

When and if you feel like it, go check my personal visitor's page for information about one of my cats and her *heir*. Its been there for a while and I have been going to remove it but hadn't. Now I may know why.
