It's when you meet with the trustee and he/she goes over the details of your BK with you. Your creditors are also invited to show up, but few if any do (however they can and have for some unlucky filers). It usually occurs 1 month after filing, but that's only an approximation.

It's a meeting were you, your attorney and the Trustee meet to go over your BK petiton. It usually last no more than 5 minutes (from what I've read).Originally posted by momof3inSD View Post

But we could move and come back if we had to right? The reason I ask is because the house we are in now we have a contract saying that we will purchase it when we are able to.
