When does reposession actually hit credit report?

We are filing either 1st of Nov or Dec. Letting house and honda pilot go as we are negative 31k between the two of them. I haven't made a payment on the pilot since July, today i am 60 days late. My question is will they hit my credit report with a repossesion before they actually have it in their posession or do they actually have to have it before they can report it? I am trying to get filed before it is reposessed. Just wondering. Thanks.

They have to have the vehicle in order to say it's a repo.

I was 30 days late before I retained a lawyer. I went 5 months w/out paying and it shows up as IIBK.

Mine was repo'd and I got it back due to the automatic stay and it reports as "wage earner plan" or something like that. So I guess they have to have it, and keep it to report that.
Disclaimer: Young, NOT Dumb.(._.) The plan: $480 monthly for 60 months at 100%. 07/12/08
      Motion to Discharge: FILED!! 08/07/13
