How long before we will have to be out???

We are in MI. Filed BK on August and also have not made our house payment since August. (we are way upside down and felt it better to walk away and rent for a couple of years while the credit is being repaired...) Anyhow, we also decided to stay in the house about as long as we can to build up our cash reserves. We had our 341 in Sept. and a 2004 meeting a week ago (oct. 22). Today we got the letter for "Motion for relief of automatic stay and entry of order waiving the provision of FRBP 4001..."
Our attorney told us this would happen and eventually there will be a notice on the door. Suppossedly after the notice we will have 6 months before eviction... Does this make sense?

Does anyone know if we will be able to stay about 6 months after the foreclosure sale? We are in MI if that makes a difference...

Looks like we have about 6 months or so. I think our plan is to stay put for the winter and in about 4 months start looking for rental. I think we can rent for half of what our house payment was! We hope to find a rent to own.
