I just got a copy of my credit reports (well 2 of 3; TU is being a tool at the moment and I need to call them later).
I noticed on a few of my discharged items the following statement -
Creditor's Statement:"Purchased by another lender" and applies to the following: Barclay's Bank, HSBC, Sears/CBSD, and WFFNB/Avenue (though not Lane Bryant interestingly enough)
Is this something that I will need to keep an eye out for in the coming months? I don't see any unusual credit pulls, other than Wachovia for my car loan and Capital One for a credit card I received this month.
