Would it be a good idea?

We would like to get a new couch and loveseat for our livingroom and also need some wood to finish fixing our second bedroom into a babyroom. Would it be ok to use a creditcard for these items now and file BK in say April or May. Also would it raise a red flag to buy these items and not pay our CC bills next month?

If you decide to move forward with the above plans, you ought to postpone filing for at least12 months.

Isn't that unethical and if intentional, illegal? Not to get preachy but having in mind to do that is sort of odd. i would sooner gnaw my right arm off and smear myself with honey while laying on a red ant pile than go through another BK!

never mind my title that reads fraud, im not going to say its
right, but, so you buy a couple things like a chair and some
supplies, or you could be the one that went out and got
5 more credit cards so you could max them out... so
          you could file...

depends on how you look at it.
