I have a past judgement from a civil lawsuit concerning rent past due and nothing regarding government debt. Could I include the judgement in a bankruptcy filing? The help is VERY much appreciated.

Thank you very much. It is a big drawn out story. This guy says I owe him the money and I don't. He sent the notice of the lawsuit to his own house (in Ohio, anyone over the age of 18 can sign for the certified letter and it doesn't even have to be the person who it is for) and won the judgement by default. Kept all of my belongings totalling approximately $25,000 for a $1,150 judgement. If this is the case (being able to charge it off in the bankruptcy) then I would have bargaining power on getting my stuff back. So, if it is, THANK YOU, to Dawn1970 AND HHM for the posts!
