    Yeah I'm pretty superficial so she was picked for other reasons. She's straightened out this year.

      So in the next few days it should be done. Once it's filed, do I have to wait for like a return or something or can I go ahead and file for bankruptcy. (Just not sure what you have to show the trustee)

        You're not going to get anything back saying that you filed. All you have to do is submit what you filed. They do check this against the IRS records, so they'll know it was filed.

          i dont think the court checks it against the IRS. i think they just use your copy of the returns you have to file. maybe i missed something in the conversation though.
          Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

            I thought they did - guess I was assming that more than anything. I'm surprised they don't because it is easy for them to check and other cases, such as child support assessments, they do check.

              well i dont work there so i wont stake your ribs on it but why would they then have you bring in paperwork thtey could just push a button for and print out in a snap if its that easy.too much work. they force it on the attorney to collect it and if its fraudulent then you in deep doo doo lol

              the DOJ does random checks now more so with the new laws.
