3 more days to object. Freaking out.

I am still freaked out about filing. My creditor's meeting was back on 12/08. So the last day for objections is on 2/6 and I am not sure what to expect. If I haven't heard anything so far is it fair to assume that I am pretty much okay?-- as there is only three more days to go. When do i actually receive a discharge? Should I still be nervous or should I feel that this is probably going to end in my favor?

I have no idea what is going on at the moment. Any advice or info would be helpful. Thanks.

how many days is that from 12-8 to 2-2. seems too short to me. needs to be 60 days.

all you need it discharge. close doesnt matter if already you dont know about something that might happen.

should you feel nervous? we all did. up to you.

maybe you should put some 'light' on that discharge date
Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

That's 2/6. Sorry about that. I guess my question still remains the same. Would I know about anything that may be objected to at this point?

I know this post started more than a few days ago....

But my First Meeting was 12/9.. so my 60 days is up 2/7. So far, no objections. And I am sweating bullets these last few days. The trustee told me Friday.. .oh, yes, you will be discharged next week. Well....provided no objections roll in on Monday or Tuesday.

To the original poster.... thing is.... an objection could be filed in the final days and it won't show up on pacer until the court's little monkey has time to put it in the system. But timely filed is timely filed.

I will probably CALL the trustee on 2/8 and ask if he received any objections on 2/6 or 2/7.....

I know it is a scary time for you...we all know what that feels like. 60 days seems like an eternity but you only have a few more days to wait. trustees have been known to wait until the day before a discharge to object so if you are going to call their office try and wait until that day. we had expense issues so there was always a remote possibility for the trustee to object to our case. if yours is cut and dry it isnt likely the trustee will have a problem with it. let us know.

5 more days to go for me...I haven't heard a word from either the trustee or my attorney, so I guess that is a good thing, right?? I still feel like I am doomed. So, what actually happens on day 61? When will I receive notice of a discharge?....that is, if 1 is granted.

I've got 7 days left and I'm as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs! I haven't heard a peep out of anyone...............yet.

Not sure here, but wouldn't 2/10 be your deadline? If I am mistaken, then my deadline will be the 13th, and not the 11th...OH THE PAIN!!!

My petition says last day to object to dischargeable debts is 02/10, but 60 days after hearing is 02/12.............not sure myself. Either way, as long as nothing shows up the week following the last day, I don't care. I've waited this long, what's two more days..........especially over the weekend. I can find all kinds of stuff to do to occupy myself and ease the pain, if you know what I mean.

you guys will be fine...try not to worry. We have all been right where you are. The last days are the hardest. They seem to just crawl by. If you had NO indication at the 341 and your attorneys do not think you have any questionable expenses or income you need to turn over then you are basically home free. Usually when the trustee objects at the 11th hour it is something that is not a total surprise to the attorney or the consumer. Hopefully, that is not a problem for you guys...good luck...it wont be long now!

so i guess i should mention that the US Trustees usually waits until the very last day to object?

If the trustee does object, one would hope it's for good cause, and not some bunch of frivilous bullsh*t just to throw a wrench in the mix. These days, I'm in no mood for bullsh*t........someone will get a real a$$ whoopin.
