    IRS Certified Tax Returns...

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a certified copy of your tax returns? I plan on filing soon for 2003/4 and 5 and am guessing it will be done electronically. Would filing electronically make it possible to get a quick certified copy back?
My appointment w/ tax man is coming up, but it's TWO days away....

    Yep. It will be electronic.

The attny you choose will provide you with the info you need to request the Transcripts for the tax years you need.

An attny told us that the attnys cannot request the Transcripts. Only the personal individual can.

The attny gives you the contact info, you contact the IRS, and the IRS transmits your Transcripts directly to either the Trustee or the BK Court. Not sure which. I just know the attny physically does not receive the tax return Transcripts.

I am not an attorney. My comments are based on personal experience and research. Always consult an attorney in your area to address concerns related to your particular situation.
