    help, what does this mean?

    Notice of appearance and request for notice filed by Onyx Acceptance Corp (Serviced by Capital One Auto Finance) Department and Erich Michael Ramsey. Interested party added: Onyx Acceptance Corp. (Ramsey, Erich) (Entered: 08/23/2006)

    Does this mean that they are coming to my 341? Or is it just giving Onyx who was our original loan company through our truck (Capital One Auto Finance acquired the loan) notice because they have to?

    I don't wan't to meet anyone face to face-I'm really all talk, not good at confrontations face to face-I'm a wuss!

    No. This is common. Just means that they want to be notified of filings for your case - esp. if there's any distribution to be made.

      I had Onyx as well and I got the same thing. It was nothing. Like bezoar said, they want to be on record as receipient of any filings.
