Casey Serin is a classic. A year old now & still going. His story is so real that it could be a movie. I honestly feel the kid was just young & dumb & believed in the get rich fast lie that he invested in. He admits to lying on his loans & was fully aware of what he was doing but I dont think he realized how deep he was really getting & in such a short amount of time, kind of like an addiction of buying houses, almost like gambling or in his case speculation...with high expectations of selling the homes. In other ways he simply did not really know what he was doing, or so it appears to me.
I actually learned a lot from Caseys story because I simply dont think in fraudulent terms to try & get away with lying. I dont think he was either & was running with a dream business of house flipping with the debt getting bigger instead of stopping. He did well on his first deal & then after that he failed every time. I also dont believe he was fully aware of the housing bubble getting ready to pop. One strange cookie but something about him I still like & I just cant get it to view him as the only problem in these loans or as this horrible criminal though people have surely beat him up ruthless for what he did.
A lot of these little people the feds are letting go because they have no money to get & they are going after bigger people who really did a lot of fraud for a long time who have some money to pay back...and going after those who do the 100% loans with no money down & liar loans & then give the people a junky house worth nothing.
My rant for the day
The other people in the videos I am not familiar with.
