This is so stupid. It's as simple as, the documents weren't signed, so it wasn't final. Get over it!

Personally looking at it Citi lowballed their offer at 1 dollar a share or less.
Wells Fargo offered a better deal to Wachovia's shareholders and customers by offereing 7 times that.
Also since Wachovia is practically bankrupt isn't this a frivolous lawsuit since they couldn't possibly pay such an award.
I agree that Citigroup's offer was a pittance. Also, Wells Fargo required no government assistance in their purchase while Citi did.
I think that the lawsuit is ridiculous, but they are suing Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo is not bankrupt or even near bankruptcy.
