    Hi CH!

I'm not offended by this at all!

The reason I was crying is because I love this person. BUT as a friend only!! There is nothing sexual about it at all, but I won't say we don't dance around some sexual tension. (that's part of the fun)

You are not the first person in my life that has "raised an eyebrow" LOL
My husband is fully aware of this friendship. We have been married a long time and love and respect each other. We don't have a jealousy problem at all.

He has some female friends too! My husband and I are connected at the brain stem and talk about every thing and anything.

If either of us wanted to step over the line, well, I guess that discussion is for another forum, so I'll just say that a solution would be worked out.

So, far, we've not been faced with that particular problem

All my life I've been horrible at trying to figure out women and finally gave up ( I say this jokingly ladies), but I've had some pretty bad luck at times with some girl friends and I think it's because some do things similar to your situation JFA, and it puzzles the heck out of me......Just something to think about.

ROFL! Now you've made me laugh JT. Thank you. I was already in a fantastic mood and now I'm smiling ear-to-ear. Man, you people are the greatest to chat with.

Glad you are feeling better today. I think you are wise to give it some time.

CreditHater, I appreciate your honesty!! I am female and I haven't figured us out yet either Also understand your confusion. However, one of my dearest friends (BFF as my teenage daughter would say!) is a guy. Yep, we've definitely had to set some boundaries, but my husband is OK with it.

For me, men are easier to work with. We have too many women around here and way too much or too little estrogen! There are days when they need to put Valium in the water supply (And I need a double shot--LOL!)

Thank you for responding JFA. After reading over your first post a few times, I admit, the eyebrow raised

I'm at lunch right now and went outside to chuckle to myself, but I can't stop laughing. Everyone is gonna wonder if I should be locked up in the looney bin. I can't stop giggling. I can see co-workers peeking over their cubicles to see what in the world I'm up to. ROFLMAO!

I'd like to add that my hubby knew I was upset, so he took off work today to be with me (is that the sweetest thing you've ever heard?).

We're going to make make a big lasagne today and spend the afternoon cooking and sipping wine!

I am blessed to have such a wonderful husband! We've been together 13 years and I feel like we've just begun!

                Update!

Thanks for all the support!!! Much appreciated

Just wanted to post an update that I did hear from my friend today! He called me and was like HEY, WHERE YA BEEN?

We talked about every thing under the sun, except his new car and my bankruptcy.

I think things are back to normal and believe that he was stunned, embarrassed and the like and just plain didn't know what to say to me. He also knows how emotional I am and probably figured I would grill him to death on the subject.

That's great to hear JusticeForAll! I knew everything would turn out okay. I'll bet you're right and he was just stunned and didn't know what to say or how to say it.

I'm glad this turned out okay for you.

                    Well, KEWL, JFA!!

I've been in your friend's shoes before, and I'll bet you have too. Someone confides something to you that totally blows your mind. You just don't know what to say or how to react. You take some time to regain your wits and you're fine. They're fine. You are both fine again.

                    Glad that's all it was!!

Great news JFA. I am glad in the end he was a "real friend" afterall. I would bring up the car with him at some point so that he doesn't feel like he has to tip-toe around you and that you can still be happy about his major purchase.

                        Maybe he'll let me drive

Thanks again everyone -- and SinkingFast -- you are correct -- been there, done that, bought the T-shirt!
