Is it safe to come back?

After the extreme harrassment I was dealing with here including stalking I think it's been long enough I've been gone. It shows in the corner my last log in was 10/16/06.

I'm back for selfish reasons. I'm needing the motivation to stay away from the credit cards. I cut up all of them. I over used them but it's still easily maintainable.

So, let's hope the harrassers are gone. If they aren't well this will be a short visit and I will dissapper for good!

The home is great! It look a few bucks for paint but that's about it. We've had a hard time with home owners. Most people don't want to insure banktupcy people. They sent out an inspector that didn't know what she was doing, canceled our policy, we fought it and got our coverage back. We were canceled over rust on a shed in the back. We spraypainted over it and they reinstated our coverage.

I don't have personal knowledge about your bad experience here...but I can tell you this much. All the Moderators here have been working deligently to keep the forum operating smoothly, and harmoniously! :-) Our zero-tolerance policy towards: Spamming, Trolling, and Ingnorant Behaviors, should be to your liking.

So glad to hear the house has worked out so well for you and that you were able to fight and successfully keep your homeowner's insurance too - wtg! The credit card sirens calling you can be a tough one to overcome - you are so smart to come back here to where you can get extra moral support to drown them out! Welcome home!

Good to see your name again, JeepMom. I don't post much, but I read everyday and remember when you left.

I sympathize with the beckoning of the CC. We have one, with only a $500 limit. We shred any new apps as soon as they come in the mail. Now, as we've been living on a cash only basis for almost a year, I wonder how in the world I ever made all of those minimum payments. I NEVER want to go there again. Glad to hear you're keeping yours manageable.

I never saw any real reason for you to be scared away. The internet is both a wonderfully beautiful and terribly evil place. There will always be flamers out there which you can deal with however you please. But you can't avoid it, you take the bad with the good as you do everything in life, and the good almost always outweighs the bad.
