    Help with component cables for the Wii?

    I just ordered some component cables for my Wii. Everytime I wanted to use it, I had to unplug my dvd player from the back of the plasma tv.

    Everything is 'newer'. I was able to get a picture inserting 3 of the cables into the slots where I was using the color coded blips on my tv. But the audio cables, there's no sound, even though I think I hooked it up correctly.

    Any suggestions?

        For some reason we had to switch the yellow and white cables when using our WII. The white went in the yellow slot, yellow in white.

        Voila! Sound!
