Complaining about unethical social worker...how to?

    Hi everybody:

I had a mediator who was a social worker. She did some things that were black and white unethical. I was wondering how I could file a complaint against her?

I tried to look up some basic info, but didn't get the info I needed.

    Thanks for any help.

A mediator is supposed to be a neutral party during divorce proceedings.

However, I have subpeona emails showing correspondance between the mediator and opposing counsel. To the degree that the mediator made recommendations to opposing counsel on what to put in an Order against me.

I also have emails of the mediator making disparraging remarks about me with my own attorney.

None of this information I was aware of until I got the emails.

Needless to say, the mediator was quite biased.

I'm looking to report her to whatever association oversees integrity of its members.

How did you get copies of these emails - I am assuming via a subpoena from your second paragraph above? Did you discuss with your attorney involved in your divorce? I would certainly start there first. Mediators are usually court appointed but I would certainly start with your own attorney as to this situation and go from there as to what he advises you and if anything can actually be done as to this situation.
