Lexus just anounced a recall on 215 thousand vehicles.
The fuel pipes in the Lexus GS300, GS350, IS250, IS350, and LS460 from the 2006-2008 model years react poorly to "some ethanol fuels with low moisture content," .....They also have a recall on the rack and pinion units for the same vehicles as well as a rear brake calliper issue...
This is great news for me as I am a Lexus technician (i.e. more$$) it is a bit to late to help my bk..
Anyhow,
If there was any bk filers out there that were able to hang on to their Lexus you can contact your local dealer to get these campaigns done...
Btw-there has been 0 issues with a fire and only about 27 cases of an actual fuel leak...Lexus is very proactive when it comes to these issues..In my opinion they are one of the best companies out there
