Do you have any experience with Pheonix University?

I am going to start school in the fall at Miami University of Ohio (Middletown campus). I am going to get my associates in accounting. I work at Kohl's e-commerce. They will reimburse $3000 a year. I have to work there a year after reimbursements are paid. My plan is to work there while going to school and then enroll with Phoenix University Online. I would like to eventually get my masters. Right now I am working the weekend shift (fri-sun 6p-6a) so I have all week to do school. I am hoping in a few years to maybe work during the week doing accounting, for experience, while finishing up my school. I have heard horror stories about several online and area schools. I am just wanting to know if the Phoenix is a program that employers will recognize. Thanks for the help.

As long as it's an accredited University employers recognize it. If you go to phoenix be prepared to write..write..write & write.. even if it's accounting

Hi, my company also reimburses 3,000 a year for an accredited Univ. I did alot of searching and found Limestone.edu, which has been great. Look under academics and extended campus program then internet program. I started last August for my B.S. in Business Administration/Management

They are really great to work with and I love my classes so far. I found Limestone was much cheaper than Phoenix, Strayer and a few others I checked out. I have people in my class from all across the country.

Hi, I have a BS degree from Excelsior College. I might recommend Charter Oak, Excelsior, or Thomas Edison State College as opposed to UoP, just because it would be cheaper and faster.

All 4 of these schools are accredited, but the Big 3 schools will be cheaper and faster.

I have experience with the GRE, CLEP, and DANTES exams for credit. But Lawrie Millier has a website set up to help you too.

Now, this is just a thought...but what if you did the Excelsior, Charter Oak, or TESC, by testing out, and you also went to another school during the week, to say learn nursing, since it will be paid for? Or X-Ray tech? Or sonography? Something medical related...that way, in the future you would have e-commerce experience, a degree, and a degree or cert in the healtcare field? Just an idea...

        Is University Of Phoenix Legit?

Oops...I forget about this..."I am going to start school in the fall at Miami University of Ohio". Well yeah, you can go to school at Miami U. and also knock out degree requirements from one of the Big 3 schools (Big 3 in the field of distance learning) too.

Well, anyway, opinions are like elbows...everyone has 2. So just some thoughts...

I am just finishing up my online masters at the University of Findlay in Ohio. It has been a great experience but their online degree programs are limited to a handful. My degree is in health, safety and environmental management.

My degrees are from traditional universities, but one of my employees has a Bachelor's in Business from Phoenix University. I work for county government and they paid 50% of the cost, as Phoenix is a recognized/accepted school by the county.
