Trixie, that amount scares the hell out of me. I need the same surgery, but with my luck I would probably have to stay awhile. In my case everything is falling out, including things that would have to put back into place. Last year when I saw the doctor she offered a temporary fix that lasted about a week. I guess not having insurance that was all she was willing to do.
When I had my mammogram last year it was supposed to only cost $95.00. By the time I left it was over $600.00 and that was with the cash discount.
If we can bk all of our debt we might be able to afford health insurance. I'm just wondering if they would deny coverage for a pre-existing condition.
