I wonder what the reasoning is for putting this domain and forum under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom. I wouldn't have expected the UK to fund a forum dedicated to helping primarily US citizens with their financial troubles.

Maybe if you politely ask, the mods or higher may answer....

I do think he asked "politely" (especially for him).
I sure don't know the answer either.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....

The owner of the name is in Bellevue Washington. Whoever it is just doesn't have all his persoanl information available. I own two Domain names and if I told them to you, you'd be able to get my address, phone number and Name from the "whois" section of Network Solutions which means that anonymity here would be pointless. I keep them public there because every once in awhile I get offers for some of the names. One company in Canada pays me $175.00 for each name i come up with that they can use and I've made a liitle money on that for afew minutes work. The last two names i kept for myself even though they wanted to buy them. Those two names are currently hosted, one in the UK, one in Germany. The respective companies are listed as the "technical contacts" instead of them being the full contact info which they were when first registered. That does not mean that they are funded by those countries. What you see for the BK Forum means that they got a cheap registration deal and the contacts are listed as the companies that registered them. TUCOWS does it the same way and doesn't show the actual owners name.
