Wal-Mart owes me big!

So, Thursday I get my "Award" from work. $15 Wal-Mart gift card. OK, cool.

I doin't feel like cooking Friday, so I hit WM supercenter. I like chicken so I order the 16 piece breaded selection.

I get it home and .....YUK! Rock hard! I had to peel the top off, and the rolls sucked and the only redeeming thing was the potato salad.

So, I wrote WM about the lousy chicken..I told them if they raced against Fred Meyer, Albertsons and Safeway, they'd come in 10th!

We'll see what their response will be..I suspect I am out the cash, but no matter it was free.

Which WM Super Center? Shelton, Twin-Cities or Yakima? Would you believe we have managed to visit all 3 during a trip to the coast two years ago?

This was a "Former" WM that was remodeled into a supercenter...Just 6 months ago...So far, they have responded with "Tell us the store" and that's all so far...

(Note: I opened the second package tonight and found 7 pieces (This was 2 packages of 8 pieces) If they don't do anything, then I'll add that now I will NOT ever shop there..Cheating the customer is the worst thing ever)

if you dont feel back on a BK, dont feel bad about taking walmarts
bad chicken back... I just wouldnt let food go, i would get up in managers
face and say "HEY, whats up with this rock hard special?"

hehehehe...wait a week, and if you don't hear from them, mail them the nasty chicken you have left parcel post with a copy of your letter. I'm sure the manager would understand then LOL.

Called by Deli Manager..Oh lordy...I call back and she's not there..OK, how about tomorrow? Sure...OK thanks...

Easy? Not hardly! it took me 5 MINUTES TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE WORKER WAS EVEN SAYING!!!

Just freaking great and now I know why the chicken was so LOUSY!! If they can barely speak english, they probably can't read or understand COOKING INSTRUCTIONS!!!!

Guess I'll end up writing this off...Try again tomorrow...

UPDATE:

Wal-Mart called, Assistant GENERAL manager of the store apologized rofusely and said "There's a $20 gift card waiting for you, when you come back and shop as we do hope you will"

I said thank you and that's it..I think I may need some socks, maybe some shoe lifts BUT NO MORE CHICKEN!!!

And, btw, you never did say what super WM you shopped. Are there more than 3 in Washington? Idaho has none, so far, although, Walmart has been trying to put one in Pullman, WA and/or Moscow, ID. If they succeed in Moscow, I'll be able to look out my kitchen window into their 1100-space parking lot!

It is store 2550..A converted "Normal WM to a SuperCenter...
