Next year, I'll wrap as I shop...

And I mean it this time!

I don't dislike wrapping, I just tend to put it off til the last moment. I think last year, I actually wrapped some gifts for my inlaws on Christmas day before heading over to their house.

I have kids, and toys don't fit so nicely into those pretty boxes. Plus half the fun is in making a big mess, right?

Do like I did this year !!!

Hug them good, tell them "Merry Christmas" - and let them know they will always have a "bed" at my house, SINCE they have time and money now INVESTED IN IT....

The guys informed me that if they get in a "tiff" with their wives, they don't have to sleep on the couch anymore - they have a bed at my house....... and the wives all yelled - "me too"!!!!

Very little Christmas shopping done this year. Bought the small children a little something each, but everyone else knew all FUNDS went on getting the house back......

Also did not want to go in debt to buy Christmas presents... I've always paid cash each year.......

My coworker has a large family-10 siblings. They all met at her house for C'mas this year, and she cooked. Most have kids, some even have grandkids. I couldn't begin to imagine the chaos! She said she started cooking Thursday evening, and got only a couple of hours of sleep between then & Sunday night.

The adults all get 1 gift for each child, and exchange a couple of gifts among the other adults as well.

Nothing in Minny's comment suggested you would NOT be sleeping alone if you took her up on the offer.

Molly and Minny SAID and I quote "WE DON'T MOVE OVER FOR ANYONE"......

Now if you can find ROOM on that bed with me and the girls piled up in it...... you can have that spot...........it's all yours......

LOL - instead of two legs kicking you all night you can have 10 - (figure that one out).....

                  lol
